We’d booked 2 rooms in advance, but when we arrived the hotel gave us only 1, after making us wait 1.5 hours. After a long journey, that kind of poor management was unacceptable. Staff were rude, unhelpful, and unapologetic, with no urgency or real effort to fix things. Then they charged ₹1000 extra when we checked out just 40 minutes late. They held guests up by 1.5 hours without taking responsibility, but charged heavily for a small checkout delay. The double standard and poor customer handling were clear. Food was below average and not worth the price, and service overall was very disappointing. Poor management, rude staff, unfair charges, and average food. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel and choose somewhere else.

The checkout charge felt especially unfair after the hotel had already delayed us. We were billed ₹1000 for being only 40 minutes late, even though they had kept us waiting almost 1.5 hours at check-in after giving us just 1 room despite our booking 2 in advance. Staff were rude and uncooperative, with little urgency to sort out their mistake. The food wasn’t worth the price either. Poor coordination, indifferent service, and the one-sided extra charge made for a very unpleasant stay. We expected much better.

For a night near the ferry point, this could work. It’s close to Haddo Jetty, faces the sea, and has plenty of shared areas with sea views. The place sits somewhere between a BnB and a hotel, and with its standard and location I found the price about 1.5x too high, so it wasn’t great value. The best part was the staff. Their warmth was unusual for a small hotel, service was prompt, and food quality was good with plenty of options. We stayed in a Premium room, where the street traffic was audible inside. The room was small, with no wardrobe and barely a small window, though it was fresh inside and hygiene standards were high.

The inhouse restaurant is the main drawback, with every item priced exorbitantly high, perhaps like a graded 5 star Hotel. Even one cup of tea costs Rs. 140/-. Other items are similarly priced. The Hotel does allow outside food, so you can bring something by zomato/Swiggy. My advice is to enjoy the complimentary breakfast and order lunch or dinner from outside. The location is wonderful, right on the main road, close to the jetty, and the hotel has a sea view. Rooms are small but cosy and well decorated. If you don’t eat at the hotel restaurant, you should have a great stay.
