Aryavart by OYO Rooms

I arrived at 11.30 at night, and this became a stay I won't forget for all the wrong reasons. The rooms looked shabby and weren't maintained well. There was no water from the washbasin tap. After I called reception, a boy came and told me to sleep for now and that it would be fine by morning, but the tap was still dry then. I asked to move rooms, and they agreed, but in the new room the commode cistern tap ran continuously. In the end I had to go back to the first room, with no water at the tap. The TV had no active channels. Reception sent someone, who said the recharge had failed and nothing could be done, then told me to sleep. I asked several times for soap and a towel; they took 45 minutes to arrive, and the towel was torn and shredded. I was so fed up that I didn't try the hotel's breakfast or dinner. The service was so poor that a waiter would only come after calling reception at least 4-5 times. Never book this place, or you may have a nightmare of a stay.

The rooms are spacious, but the stay wasn't good. We had to keep asking for soap and towels, and the old blankets and sheets were dirty and smelled awful. They wouldn't clean the rooms unless we requested it, and there was no fan.

There was no ventilation, and the place smelled very bad. The geyser, toilet flush, and taps didn't work, and even after asking, we weren't given toiletries. The sheets, pillow, and blankets were in terrible shape, and they still wouldn't change the bedding when we asked. All the basics were missing, so in the end I had to run away from the hotel. Don't go, even if they offer you a free stay.

The bathroom doors were damaged and wouldn't lock, and I got an electric shock from a bathroom tap. The rooms smelled terrible, and housekeeping and cleanliness were missing. Don't be fooled by the OYO website pictures: this hotel was a complete waste of money. Pathetic and awful, absolutely not recommended.
