Fabhotel Cosmos

The manager and staff were polite, and the hotel itself was fairly good. But room 105 had no hot water. They brought me a bucket of water, though the hot water issue needs to be fixed right away. There’s no restaurant either.

We checked out at 7 am and found people still asleep when we needed service. The service was bad. Our room had no window, the bathroom had no exhaust fan, and I saw cockroaches inside.

We paid Rs 2500 for one day on 25th Aug24 and booked Hotel Cosmos, but the place was actually Hotel Cosmopolitan. The app photos and details were far better than what we found. After taking 20% upfront, they put us in what felt like a low-grade banquet hall, with one man at reception and mosquitoes everywhere, including around us. We asked for a refund. After a lot of arguing, they said it would be reversed within 24 hours, but I still haven’t received it. There was only one servant, who was arguing with the receptionist and asking him to call someone else because his shift had ended. It felt like a dharamshala. I wouldn’t recommend staying even one day, even for free. The other people the attendant suggested were frauds. The owners should return our advance and shut down this dharamshala so visitors don’t waste time and money. Local authorities should step in and help. XXXXX NOT RECONEBDED XXXXX. The building may be newly constructed, but the workmanship and fittings are poor, and a lot of things were already broken. The lift wasn’t working, so guests had to take the stairs even to the third floor. Rooms and washrooms weren’t cleaned daily, leaving stains everywhere. The service was the worst, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
