The room was a strong point: spacious, clean, and well maintained, with spotless bathrooms and hot water available all day. The work table was handy for using my laptop, and the insulation kept the cold outside from making the room uncomfortable. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise, with several good options. Getting there was difficult. Hotel Kashi is central and near attractions, but it's tucked into narrow interior lanes. A four-wheeler is hard to bring in, and there's no dedicated parking. An auto rickshaw, or to-to, is the practical way to arrive. My Goibibo booking went smoothly, check-in was quick, and I was given a first-floor room. There is a lift, which helped with luggage. Food service needs work. After 3:00 pm there were only 2-3 snack choices, and those took a while and seemed expensive. I ordered à la carte dinner rather than the buffet, but the wait was long, and other guests seemed just as frustrated. With no restaurants nearby, guests often have to rely on the hotel's dining room. For the price, the stay was decent, and the rooms and facilities were comfortable. It's a reasonable option if accommodation matters more than dining, though better access and faster food service would make Hotel Kashi a stronger choice.

Hotel Kashi didn't provide Wi-Fi, which feels unacceptable these days. Service and hospitality were poor throughout: staff seemed untrained and helpless, and calls for help got no urgency or sense of responsibility. Room service was unresponsive, clean towels never came despite repeated requests, and basic items like drinking glasses were missing. There wasn't even an electric kettle for hot water. The free mineral water was unlimited, and the restaurant service was satisfactory to some extent. Those positives don't make up for the serious gaps in service and basic amenities. For the price I paid, the stay was good. It's a decent budget hotel a little closer to Prayagraj railway station, and transport for local sightseeing and travel is available just outside. The staff were courteous and behaved well.

The hotel is clean, the staff are supportive, and the food is good. I had to switch rooms twice because the old window AC units were noisy and weren't cooling the rooms. They later moved me to a deluxe room and helped me out.

I loved staying here and had zero complaints. The breakfast was really good for the price, and the staff service was so good they deserve a raise. It felt like five-star treatment at a budget hotel. This isn't a paid review. If you're looking for an affordable place in Prayagraj, this is the best one. They really follow athithi devo bhavah.
