We managed to make it work, though I'd give the stay about 3.5 stars. The room was clean, but there were no toiletries, and they gave us just one towel for two people. It hadn't been washed properly either. We struggled to find the place in the late evening because the location is oddly hard to reach, and the owner wasn't responding or sharing a phone number through Ixigo. Once we got there, it was okay for a night or two.

We were a family of five visiting Prayagraj and used the hotel mainly to freshen up. The place is near the river but a long way from the main city. Getting there can be hard with lots of luggage since autos and cabs can't get through the narrow lane. The neighborhood is old, and traffic builds up during regular business hours. Contact the hotel ahead of time and get their number before setting out. Google Maps may not show the exact spot you need to reach.

The room was okay for the location, but the bathroom was so small it was almost unusable, and its hygiene was below par. Based on my stay, I wouldn't recommend it for families.

Finding the hotel can be a little tricky. But the rooftop at night is quiet and mesmerizing, with a lovely view of all the lights around the mahakumbh mela. 😌

Hotel o prayagraj sangam was comfortable and well maintained, with clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Its location made it easy to explore the city, and I had a very pleasant stay. There isn't a cafeteria or kitchen on site. That wasn't much of a problem for me as an adult since there were restaurants nearby, though it could be inconvenient with children. I'd recommend it for the comfort, service, and location.
