The kitchen staff were very helpful, and the stay was good without too many problems. The food menu, though, is much too expensive for the standard, and the kitchen takes cash only, which they want as soon as possible. Cleaning and bedsheet changes had to be requested, and the blankets weren't good or large enough for two people. The location is convenient, near Allahabad university, anand bhawan and some government offices, though this is the only hotel there. It's a good budget OYO managed place.

The AC, fan and TV all worked, and the room was good. Cleanliness was only average, though, and they didn't provide basics like hand wash or tissues. It needs more cleaning. There's also no secure parking for your vehicle.

The staff were humble and helpful, which is the only plus point and earns them one more star. The room itself had a long list of problems: the TV and telecom weren't working, the window was dirty, things were broken, and the pillows and bedsheets were very dirty. I asked for clean ones, but they brought more dirty ones. The washbasin water ran slowly, there were no clothes hangers or room dustbin, and no toiletry kit. The toilet seat wasn't cleaned properly. There weren't any nearby restaurants or tea shops.

Even after I kept following up about changing rooms, they were still dirty. They blamed the poor room condition on low-quality water supply, which is an idiotic response from an OYO property. A pathetic experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
