We only needed the double A/c room for an hour to change for a function, so I paid around 2.1 k for the day. There were four of us, all women. The manager said only two people could use the room at a time, so we took turns. He and the staff got upset and began abusing our group, using foul language and raising their voices at me and my sister. We explained that we’d check out within an hour, but they wouldn’t listen. They threatened to throw our luggage out if we didn’t leave. We checked out after 45 minutes and continued our travel because we were short on time. It was the most horrible experience we’ve ever had. I never expected this from a hotel with such a prestigious name, and I won’t recommend it. The manager and reception staff should show basic decency. They shouldn’t threaten women or guests who have booked a room. I hope this helps people think before booking here.

The staff were rude and arrogant, with no basic courtesy or sense of responsibility. The rooms smelled of cigarettes and didn’t feel clean, which made the already disgraceful service feel even worse for the prices charged. We booked the hotel for a function, and halfway through the event they switched off the air conditioning. Guests were left sweating and uncomfortable. The elevators were out of order too, so people had to struggle on the stairs. When water spilled there, staff refused to mop it. My sister ended up doing it herself so guests could walk into the halls without slipping. The management seemed careless and unprofessional throughout. It was a bitter, horrible experience, and I’d never recommend this hotel.

We held a function for about 300 guests at Hotel Gokulam Residency, and everything went smoothly. The staff were polite and cooperative, the food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone, and the arrangements, including the decorations, were excellent. The rooms we were given were clean, comfortable, and well cared for. I was very satisfied and would recommend the hotel for functions or family gatherings.

The whole property has a soothing, relaxed feel. It’s a beautiful hotel, with elegant decor and a really pleasant atmosphere.
