We ordered chicken biriyani and fish biriyani with king fish, but they brought seafood biriyani with octopus and tiger prawns that seemed years old. The restaurant guy also got the order wrong and behaved unprofessionally. We were the only people dining in, which didn’t surprise me. Maybe the place is still open because there’s a BAR attached. I don’t recommend dining here.

I called just now to book a room for the 25th, but the woman who answered said only a suite was available. I explained that I’d stayed in a suite here before for a marriage, and the AC hadn’t worked then. She told me to take it if I was interested, otherwise she didn’t have time to hear my complaints. Horrible experience, and I was only trying to book a room.

The courtyard had stray dogs, and the front of the place was full of trash. The bathroom and bedroom stank, and there wasn’t enough light. We skipped the free breakfast after the first day for obvious reasons. New Saravana Bhavan nearby was our saving grace. I’d planned to check out the next day, but ended up surviving there for four days. I won’t go back.

The rooms and service were good, but the complimentary meal or tiffin wasn’t good taste-wise. You also have to wait a long time for the food to be served.
