Amanzi - The Boutique Resort

The one thing I’d have changed is the Luxury Suite plunge pool. At this price, having temperature control would have made the experience even better, so I’m giving the stay 4 out of 5. I’d still happily recommend Amanzi for a relaxing luxury break, and I’m looking forward to coming back. The food was the biggest highlight. Every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was fresh, carefully prepared, and impressive in its ingredients, presentation, and flavor. There was a nice balance of variety and quality, and I looked forward to every meal. The kitchen team clearly takes pride in what they serve. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable Luxury Suite with a clean patio and private plunge pool surrounded by greenery. The room was well maintained, and the outdoor space was enjoyable even in the summer heat. Housekeeping was excellent, and the property showed attention to detail throughout. Amanzi’s setting among the Western Ghats was peaceful and secluded, with views of the lake, hills, and fort, while still being accessible from Mumbai and Pune. The calm was noticeable as soon as we arrived, and it was easy to switch off from the daily rush. The atmosphere felt elegant and thoughtfully put together without being over the top. Service was just as commendable. Staff were courteous, attentive, and genuinely keen to help, which made the stay more enjoyable. The resort gets the main things right: comfortable accommodation, beautiful surroundings, good food, attentive service, and a peaceful feel.

The only real drawback is the steps all over the property, which would make it impossible to get around with a wheelchair or pram. Otherwise, this is one of the best resorts in the Pune area, maybe the best, and though it’s expensive, I felt it was worth it. The rooms are large, with a big bed and either garden or lake views. They’re clean and lavish, with lovely bathrooms. There’s no TV, but Wi-Fi is available. I also liked the veranda, pool, garden, and library. They have badminton, pickleball, basketball, and board games you can take to your room. The onsite restaurant serves excellent food, always piping hot. Staff are cheerful, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile.

The surroundings are calm and lovely, a real break from city life, and the staff are courteous and ready to help. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept, and the food had a good range of options. Amanzi Resort has a refreshing, peaceful feel that works well for families, couples, or groups. We had a memorable stay and found it comfortable throughout. Recommended for a relaxing holiday.

The rooms were the best part for me: big, spotless, and really luxurious. They look even better in person than in the pictures. The meals were fresh, delicious, and had plenty of variety too. Amanzi Resort made for a wonderfully relaxing weekend, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I’ll definitely return. Highly recommend it!
