Hotel Parichay

Hotel Parichay has 20 rooms and a warm, welcoming feel. The rooms are described as well appointed, with essential amenities, and the hotel has a child-friendly policy: children between 2 to 8 can stay free of charge. It's also couple-friendly, with flexible policies and friendly management. Check-in is listed as 02:00 PM and check-out as 12:00 PM, although another section says check-in begins at 12:00 PM. The airport is a 24-minute drive away. It's a 2-star hotel, 4.4 km from Pune city center, and a popular budget choice that's rated 4.0 out of 5. The smooth check-in and check-out process and accommodating policies seem to bring guests satisfaction. Pune has hotels in many categories, and this one is presented as a strong option within its category. It sounds suitable for a comfortable business or leisure stay in the city.

Sitting on the closed balcony and watching the traffic and Fergusson college students go by was a relaxing part of our stay. The place is lovely, with clean, nicely arranged rooms that are spacious, as are the bathrooms. Breakfast is complimentary, with good choices. I especially like the cheese upma and poha.

The service and rooms turned out better than I expected, and it's a nice place for couples or families. It's in a crowded spot, so don't expect a luxury view. I'd say it's above average but short of a first-class hotel, and nice enough for a day or two.

The noise from the restaurants beside the rooms carried on until 2am, so sleep was disturbed. Apart from being accessible to the main area, I didn't find much else good. The rooms are basic, and at 2500 they're expensive for what you get. Even a basic amenity like a chair at the desk was missing. Hygiene needs improvement, and I found the kitchens behind the plush restaurant at the front very unhygienic while staying here. Maybe hotels like this are surviving because of traveling parents, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it to working professionals.
