Despite the location and concept having potential, the maintenance and guest handling at Toyam Resort need serious improvement. Our stay was one of my worst resort experiences. I booked two rooms for my family, including my parents, who are over 65, and my four-year-old daughter. It became stressful and uncomfortable for all of us. The bathrooms smelled foul and were only cleaned after repeated complaints. The Jal Rooms had gaps in damaged flooring, which felt unsafe for my child and parents. Both rooms’ ACs took hours to work properly, electricity kept fluctuating and restarting the TV, AC, and other appliances, and eventually the fan in one room stopped working. The intercom also didn’t work properly. Towels, a bucket, and a tumbler took a very long time to arrive. At check-in, my parents had to wait because no buggy was available to take us to the rooms. When I followed up about the room issues and pending requests, a staff member named Prathamesh behaved very disrespectfully and unprofessionally. I had to raise my concerns with Mr. Sharad Bajpai several times. Management acknowledged these Jal Rooms already had problems and were due to be taken out of order, yet they were still assigned to guests. The whole experience caused my family a lot of inconvenience, discomfort, and mental harassment.

The lakeside sunset at Toyam Resort, Bhor was incredible, and the surroundings were so peaceful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautiful, with a really calm atmosphere. We ordered Kanda bhaji in the evening and loved it. There’s no buffet on weekdays, but they made whatever we were craving, and the food was delicious. This place suits you if you want nature and hospitality without loud activities. It was a wonderful visit, and I can’t wait to return.

The rooms are the one good thing here. They’re cosy, but everything else was below average. When we arrived, the staff seemed barely interested in welcoming us, and the service was pathetic. For the tariff they charge, I expected better hospitality. The buffet didn’t match the price either. If you only want a cosy room, maybe it works, but for the overall experience I wouldn’t recommend it. I regret spending money on an average property that claims to be luxe.

The staff were warm, respectful, and polite throughout, and the water sports were a highlight. They felt fun and safe, with something for all age groups. When evening came, live music added a magical feel to the winter atmosphere. We came for a weekend getaway and found the resort close to the city, about an hour from the main city. The green surroundings and picturesque views immediately put us in a calm, meditative mood. Kids had a great time running around the lawns and swimming in the clean blue pool. The food was tasty, and there was a good spread at the buffet. It was a refreshing break, and we can’t wait to return.

The staff made us feel welcome and cared for the whole time. They were attentive, warm, and always smiling, and their kindness felt genuine. The owner, Sahildada Pawar, deserves a special mention too. His passion for the resort shows in the details and in the way the place feels both luxurious and homely. We visited Toyam Orchid Resort for an office outbound meet, and stayed at Toyam Orchid Bali Theambase Resort. The lush greenery and natural views gave the property a peaceful, restorative feel, and its thoughtful design blends into the surroundings. It’s a lovely place to unwind and reconnect with nature. We left with beautiful memories and can’t wait to return.
