Itsy Hotels Blossom – Viman Nagar

We booked a double room in the Oak category through the website for one night in the first week of Sep'25, after the details and photos looked decent. As soon as we arrived at Treebo Blossom, the room was a shock: the AC was broken though still running, table corners were cracked, and the walls, linens, toilet walls, and window panes were badly stained. Reception seemed indifferent and said it was the only room in that category. My wife was upset, but since we were leaving the next morning, I asked her to put up with it for the night, and she reluctantly agreed. Then small cockroaches started crawling around while we were having dinner, and some were on the bed too. We managed to finish eating and complained firmly at reception. They hurriedly moved us to a comparatively better room, but there were small cockroaches there as well. Somehow we got through the night. If you’re fine with insects and cockroaches, this hotel might suit you. For us, the stay was a nightmare.

The only real advantage is being close to the airport, station, and other places. The rooms were average in size and quality, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re willing to compromise. Check-in was a hassle, with two or three forms plus a register asking where you came from and the purpose of your stay. The bathroom lock was broken, so it couldn’t be locked from inside, and there were cockroaches in the rooms. All the lights were tied to one switch, so you couldn’t choose to turn on just one. Staff didn’t listen when I asked for a sanitary kit, which they never provided. They said they’d bring an iron, but after an hour there was no update. When I followed up, they said another guest had it and wasn’t releasing it. Breakfast was advertised as starting at 7:30 AM, but when we had to check out then because of an event, staff told us it started at 8:10 AM. That later time wasn’t posted anywhere, except on a scribbled, hard-to-read sign at reception. They weren’t willing to help, so I had to buy breakfast outside.

Treebo Blossom Viman Nagar turned away our Kenyan guests despite our advance booking and telling the hotel about them beforehand. Staff accepted the reservation, then refused to check them in when they arrived. They wouldn’t even let our guests sit in reception. The treatment was disrespectful, arrogant, and unprofessional, and I consider it blatant discrimination. There was also no WiFi and the network connection was terrible. I’d stay away and think the hotel should be blacklisted.

The rooms were sold out when we arrived, so we couldn’t book a stay. Even so, the staff made a real effort to help. They carried our bags from the roadside to reception and offered water when they saw my child was thirsty. We felt their kindness and professionalism despite not staying, and I really appreciate how humble and helpful the team were.
