There isn’t much of a crowd, since this is a club built for Pride residents and other activities. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. There’s a restaurant inside the club, but it closes early and doesn’t open until 11 AM, as this isn’t a full-fledged hotel. With limited places to stay around Charoli, it’s a decent option.

The restaurant doesn’t open until 11 am, so there’s no breakfast, and you can’t order anything after 11 pm. My Amristasi fish tasted metallic, and the chef wouldn’t acknowledge the problem, saying he was from Kolkata. The STP smell in the washroom was nauseating. I also had a fever and body pain for two days straight. The TV remote barely worked unless I stood 2-3 meters away to change channels, and after changing rooms two or three times, I finally settled in one that turned out to have rats crawling on the iron rods and going into the AC vent. It was a bad experience from the start.

There’s loads of room for kids to run around and play, with a big lawn, swimming pool, pickle ball court, and two large restaurants. One has open seating; the other has enclosed seating behind glass walls. I was there for a birthday party in the banquet hall. The ambience was great, and the party food was tasty. The only drawback is that there aren’t any small shops nearby.

The veg Manchurian dry had tons of salt. After I complained, they added extra water and served it again. The chef spoke loudly when we raised the issue. We left the food on our plates and walked out. The staff were very rude and had no sense of how to talk to customers. The food was no good.

I loved staying here in Pune, at Charholi. I’ve been here to perform ashtamangala Prashna for a few families in Pune, and found it a great hotel to stay at.
