Fabhotel Happy Homely Stay

After my flight, I had trouble finding a nearby hotel that would check me in at 2am. A kind auto driver brought me here, and I was glad to find fair pricing and a good room. Since I’d arrived so late and really needed the rest, the staff let me check out later, which meant I could sleep properly. Breakfast was nice, and they also helped me find something I needed to buy locally. Highly recommend.

The room was full of cockroaches, the beds weren’t good, and the AC in the AC room I chose didn’t work. I also had a bad experience with the early check-in: FabHotel customer care first agreed to let me in two hours early for free, but when I arrived, the hotel asked me for 500rs. Customer care wasn’t helpful and told me I’d have to hand over the 500 to get a room. Worst service. Never choose this hotel.

Ewwww. The whole place felt neglected, and the room was poorly kept and unclean, with basic hygiene falling short. When I raised issues, staff were unhelpful and didn’t respond, which made the stay stressful. Amenities were missing or didn’t work, and getting into the city was inconvenient. The food, if they offered any, was below par. For the money, it was a terrible deal. I wouldn’t recommend FabHotel Happy Homely Stay unless they make major improvements.

A day before check-in, FabHotel called to say my reservation at Homely Stay would be moved to another hotel because the property was full. I’d booked through Agoda a week ahead, and the app clearly showed the booking as confirmed. At the alternative hotel, there was no reservation under my name. I was stranded with no rickshaws or taxis available, and repeated calls to the staff went unanswered. Neither FabHotel nor the property made any effort to help. The last-minute switch, poor coordination, and lack of communication made this a very frustrating, unprofessional experience and caused avoidable stress and inconvenience.
