FabHotel Kaveri Executive - Nr Alandi vithoba temple

The owner said a room was available only if I cancelled my Booking.com reservation and paid ₹3,500 for the night, so I did that and took the room. My original booking was for three people on 19th June, priced at about ₹2,775. That was the day before the annual Ekadashi Vaari began. I’d tried to contact the hotel a month earlier and got no reply. At check-in, the receptionist looked at my confirmed reservation and said they were full, then refused to give us the rooms we needed. When we asked why, he said they didn’t accept Booking.com bookings, even though the hotel was still listed there. We were shocked and demanded an explanation. It felt like a disgraceful way to take advantage of people coming to experience the divinity of the Vaari. I’ve attached screenshots showing the confirmed booking. The hotel was earlier known as Hotel O Keveri Executive Lodging.

The room was good, and the stay was okay overall. The staff, though, were a little rude and didn’t speak politely.

The service was really bad. The staff member’s attitude and bad language left me with no words, and my parents were disappointed.

The rooms were clean, though the hotel is a little out of the way.
