Fabhotel Lake View

We had already talked with the receptionist about arriving around 10 in the morning for check-in, and they said that would be okay. But when I got there, they told me check-in was at 12. I reminded them about our earlier conversation and got no response. It made for a really bad day. The staff were uncooperative, and the rooms weren't good or clean either.

I booked 15 days ahead on a priority basis and paid about 1600rs, half of the amount. When we reached, they refused to give us a room, saying they don't accept bookings on site. Customer care had confirmed the room, but didn't refund the payment or help, and they weren't willing to speak to us. They kept transferring our call to the manager, but nobody was there. I waited at least half an hour.

FabHotel Lake View was a relaxing place for a holiday, with a beautiful view from the room window. The surroundings were scenic, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and well ventilated, with attached bathrooms. There are AC and non-AC options at reasonable rates. The staff were polite and quick to respond, and made sure we were comfortable. The food was fresh and tasty too. I tried the North Indian and Chinese dishes, and really enjoyed them. I'd happily come back, and recommend it for a budget-friendly getaway.

The surroundings are peaceful, with nature, a lake, and mountains giving the place a lovely outdoor feel. Great service too, a nice spot for a relaxing getaway.
