The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were good. Really nice hotel and amazing service overall.

The food I ordered came on dirty plates that weren’t even dry, and there was no tissue paper. The room was dirty too, and the bathroom smelled foul, so it didn’t seem like proper cleaning was happening. I also felt unsafe all night because the door lock was faulty and didn’t work properly. For the price, I expected basic cleanliness and security, but the hotel failed on both. I wouldn’t recommend it. Stay elsewhere if you value your safety and comfort.

I wouldn’t choose this hotel for a family trip. The bed was about 4.5 feet wide, which wasn’t comfortable for us with a child, and the room didn’t have an electric kettle or lavatory essentials like soap and shampoo. It seems better suited to couples. Families should look elsewhere.

Rachna Residency is very conveniently placed, right across from the Shivaji Nagar metro station, and the surroundings were clean and peaceful. I stayed two days in Pune and enjoyed the good breakfast; the staff were helpful and courteous. The room lock was defective, though, so I had to call staff whenever I needed to open it. They said it had been faulty for a while, and it should have been fixed earlier. There were no pillow covers either, though I forgot to ask. On checkout day, I’d informed the staff well ahead, but still got two reminders within half an hour, which felt unprofessional. The team was polite and accommodating, and with a few small fixes I’d consider staying again for the location and hospitality.
