The audio tour and the guided visit to the in-house museum are both worth doing. There are activities spread through the day, though the morning trek felt a bit overhyped. We stayed in a well-appointed room, and the service was efficient. The food was above average, with Bamne chef's attention to guests' needs a nice extra. Fort Jadavgadh has been converted into a hotel with cottages, tents, and a main building. A very good weekend stay.

On my day trip, I found the audio tour really informative and unlike the usual experience. The food service was just as impressive. Ms. Wakila ma’am and Ganpati Sir hosted us wonderfully and made sure everything was handled smoothly. I’m grateful to the whole team for such a memorable visit.

Lunch was fresh, tasty, and served hygienically, with good portions and no delay. The buffet had plenty of delicious choices, all presented nicely, and the tea was refreshing and just right. The quality and taste across tea, buffet, and lunch made for a very satisfying food experience.

There’s an easy short trek on a nearby hill, which adds a little adventure. The food has lots of choices, from authentic Maharashtrian dishes to flavorful Thai curries. We went in May, during peak summer, and still got a cool breeze from evening until early morning. It’s quiet, green, and full of fresh air, with different birds to spot and their lovely calls in the morning. A really nice place near Pune for a quick, relaxing escape, especially if you love nature.

We were lucky to see the pooja at the very old Ganapati temple inside the fort, performed with beautiful traditions. The grand closing ceremony was memorable too, as was the impressive main door entrance. We had a wonderful weekend at Fort Jadhavgadh, with delicious food and plenty of outdoor activities to keep us busy.
