The best thing about the flat is the space. It's technically a 1 bhk, with a balcony, and there's plenty of room for one or two people. It's in a local marathi neighbourhood with little shops for food, groceries, and tea, plus some small apartments. ITPP (International Tech Park Kharadi) is nearby, about a 1 km walk away. There's also a lawn for public gatherings. Food options include biryani, samosa, tea, and coffee. I stayed nearly two months on an office trip. I could have stayed longer, but they told me the whole building was booked and I had to check out. After two months there, being fully booked sounded like an oxymoron, but I bought it. The room itself was super unclean. The AC didn't work, the fan only worked at one speed, and the wardrobe was dirty. The bed was neatly made, but the mattress would take you down to the underworld, I hope you understand 🙃. The washroom was dirty, like nobody had used it for a very long time, and sediment had blackened all the accessories. Some people won't want to use it. The drawing room had a sofa, table, curtains, and a twisted tube light, and it was dusty too. Service was thin on the ground: just two people, one apparently the manager and the other doing housekeeping and so on. There was no housekeeping unless you asked, and they were often away from their stations, so you'd wonder where to find them. Good boys otherwise, nothing to complain about there, just stating facts. My first-floor room faced the road, with trucks, cars, and bikes passing all the time. Luckily, I'm not a light sleeper 🙃. A few times the neighbourhood had DJ music and dancing for some occasion, going on until 10. I came back from work unhappy one day and heard it; whether you'd enjoy that depends on you 😊.
Food, if it was available, was limited and subpar, and staff were slow to answer complaints or help, which made the stay stressful. The rooms were unclean and poorly kept, with basic amenities missing or not working right. Hygiene and upkeep fell far short of expectations. I wouldn't recommend Super Collection O, Ubale Nagar unless they make major improvements to cleanliness, service, and maintenance.
Dust was visible everywhere, and the interior wasn't what I'd expected. There was no toilet jet and no hot water, the main problems for me. When I brought it up, the property manager said the place had just been cleaned, which didn't seem true. With all that dust, it's not suitable for anyone with dust allergies or a good fit for travelers.
The hotel owner agreed through Booking.com to refund me for one night, but the on-site manager refused to return the money and made excuses. I paid for two nights, had to leave after the first, and never received the promised refund. The handling was unprofessional, and I left disappointed and frustrated. I'd booked two days but cancelled after that first night because of the conditions. The area was incredibly dusty, a serious problem for my dust allergy. Dust covered the furniture and tables inside too. Leave a phone on a table for 15 minutes and it had a visible layer; touching the sofa sent clouds of dust into the air. The bathroom was in terrible shape. Check the area properly before booking. If cleanliness, health, and basic decent service matter to you, avoid this place.
I booked 15 rooms at Super Collection O Ubale Nagar through OYO for guests at my brother's wedding, right across the road. Akshay from the OYO team acknowledged what happened, but the stay was a nightmare. I had other wedding responsibilities and still had to chase down basics myself. There was zero support, accountability, or service. The guests had no bedsheets or blankets in any room. At 1 AM, I woke the staff and went room to room with them to get the basics delivered. No towels were there either, so I again had to escort staff around to supply them. By morning none of the rooms had running water. I complained several times at reception, but all six staff members were asleep and indifferent. They kept saying the motor was on without checking or fixing anything. The sofas were broken and smelly, and there were no drinking water bottles, though that's a standard amenity. Even after acknowledging these failures, OYO said the invoice couldn't be adjusted and offered benefits next time. There won't be a next time. It was the worst hotel experience I've had. Avoid OYO Hotels, especially this one.
