The thin walls let every sound and conversation through, so trying to sleep felt like being in a crowded dorm instead of a quiet lodge. The promised amenities weren’t there either. The room smelled musty, the furniture was worn and uncomfortable, and cleanliness was poor. The place felt stuck in the ’70s and was in appalling condition. Staff seemed clueless and uninterested, and even simple requests were hard to get handled. I’d urge anyone thinking of booking to think twice. It’s outdated, poorly managed and a disappointment. Your vacation deserves a better place than this rundown lodge.

We had ants in the room, and with three of us, one person had to sleep on a floor mattress. When we complained, staff said ants were no big deal and told us we could sleep there. They didn’t even clean the room. The conditions were horrible, and the staff didn’t know how to speak to us. There weren’t even basic things like pillow covers. I’d called Oyo before booking to check that a 3 AM check-in was possible, but no staff were available then. I also told Oyo that someone with asthma was with us, but nobody took care of the dust. A horrible experience all around.

The TV, fan, lights and wardrobe were good, but the rooms weren’t cleaned every day and the AC didn’t work properly. They also charged for water, which I think should have been free.

I was nearby, so I gave up on the booking call and went to the hotel in person. Before that, I’d been left on hold for 10 minutes, and when the telecaller finally answered, he asked me a dozen details, including my phone number, address and pin code, and kept repeating them back for confirmation. At the counter I was told they don’t provide a printed receipt with GSTIN. I needed one for business trip expense reimbursement, so I had to leave without staying. A total waste of time.
