Yash Regency

They offer what they say, and the people are straightforward. For management class attendees, this place is very near J W Marriott Pune. Marketplace websites seem to hide that detail to discourage direct bookings, and the hotel's number also isn't reachable. Still, you can try booking directly with them. Those sites may show no rooms available when you get there to check in.

Good for budget travel, with decent rooms and helpful, accommodating staff. Breakfast is complimentary and the food is fine. The property is centrally located in Pune, close to the railway station and with good access to transport.

I was out most of the day and didn't use much of the service, but the few things I asked for were handled quickly. The room was spacious and clean, with a desk, teapot, small refrigerator, AC, and all toiletries. Mr. Abid, who manages the place, was very helpful, and the staff were welcoming. It's a quiet place, though some corridor leaks make it look a bit dull and in need of renovation. My stay was peaceful.

The rooms are good and the location isn't bad, but I had a difficult time managing payments after placing a group here. Be careful with payments. The accounts team seems to control things, and its interference can undermine the otherwise okay hospitality. If you've paid in advance, try not to change your plans, since the hotel will do what it can to avoid giving a refund.
