I spent three days here and felt comfortable, more like I was at home. I’d read a review that made me look out for bedbugs, but I didn’t find any. The owners are soft spoken and help guide you on what you need. There’s a mini market within walking distance. Charming stay.

The owners were rude and unprofessional, and the whole experience was disappointing and strange. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Manuel was a courteous, attentive host and helped us sort out the late night check-in, finding the flat, and payment. We only stayed one night in Manuel's flat, but were really happy with our choice. It had a nice vibe, and as two Westerners we felt like we were living in a local Indian apartment. Thanks again, Manuel!

I was still dealing with this a month later: if I wore clothes that had been exposed at her place, I got bites again. I had bedbug bites two nights after my stay, something I’d never experienced before. They were three dots together, as in the photos, and didn’t look like mosquito bites. I took the photo in her kitchen just to show the traveller, since I’d seen several reviews describing her as unreasonable. After I posted about the bedbugs, she called me a liar. She only defended herself and didn’t take responsibility for the cleanliness or sanitation of her own place. If you stayed in her room, there’s a chance you got bedbugs. It’s funny that I got them there and can’t tell the truth?
