Nitya Executive by OYO Rooms

It’s above a shopping complex and there’s decent parking, but the stay itself was poor. I booked through Agoda, and when I arrived they refused to honor the reservation because the website price didn’t match theirs. The room was unclean, with dirty sheets and a comforter, and felt shady. There’s no power backup, and outages happen often out there on the outskirts. Staff were nowhere to be found, and I got no help or service.

The bathroom had clearly only been given a half-hearted clean, and the shower pressure was so weak I had to press myself against the wall to get water on my head. There was also a huge rat above the thin bathroom ceiling, which was nearly broken. In the room, long hairs, probably left by previous female guests, were everywhere, and the white bed had lipstick marks and dirty spill stains. They hadn’t bothered to change it. The place is basically a corridor with a few rooms, and the owner seems to leave them just as the last guests left them.

Whenever we needed help, we had to go looking for someone at reception. For every bit of mismanagement, the answer was simply, “aisa hi rehta hai yahan.” We had no electricity backup and suffered a lot. There was no TV or Wi-Fi either, parking wasn’t proper, and the room, bedding, and toilets were poorly maintained. Worst OYO hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The beds were made of such cheap foam that they left you with body pain, and the room smelled bad. They charged Rs. 1000 per room per night, although OYO showed Rs. 500 per room per night for the one night I booked. When I asked to extend, the receptionist said they’d move us to another hotel if I booked through OYO again, claiming they only take OYO bookings for one night. But OYO lets you book longer stays. They took advantage of my family staying there. This is the worst you can get at NITYA EXECUTIVE. Think carefully before booking there.
