OYO Townhouse 059 Magarpatta

The manager really made this stay for me. She was helpful, dedicated, and has the kind of personality that makes her a real asset to the organization. Staff and managers like that build stronger relationships with clients. The hotel itself was well maintained, with good housekeeping and hospitality. One of my best stays, and I’d recommend it for both work and family trips.

The rooms and food were good, but the service was slow during our visit. Our friend had invited 30 people, and the lifts weren’t working. There were only a few waiters, with just one or two people serving breakfast to all 30, so we spent a lot of time waiting. I’m not sure whether our friend’s gathering was the reason for the poor experience.

Breakfast choices were limited, but what they did serve was very good. I had a clean, nice room and was lucky to get one with lots of windows and a great view. The only downside for me was that there were no tea or coffee sachets in the room, which most hotels usually provide.

The location is good, and both the lobby and room were clean enough. But after two nights, I wouldn’t recommend staying here at this price. The name doesn’t make sense to me: it’s neither a Townhouse nor owned by OYO, and the staff didn’t give the warm welcome I’d expect from a hotel in this range. There was no water bottle or kettle in my room, and no tea bags or milk powder. When I asked about the water, they said it had been provided when they partnered with OYO, but now it costs Rs.30/-, Rs.10 more than the market price. They also said complimentary breakfast was offered only during the OYO partnership, which I didn’t think was a good thing to say. I noticed dust on the bedsheet and called reception to ask for it to be changed. They said they’d send someone, but nobody came. I’d rate the stay 2.75 out of 5. At this cost, I think anyone could find a better option.
