The room rent was on par with other hotels, so I felt cheated by how poor or missing the basic amenities were. The geyser, 32 inch TV, and washroom fittings were all very poor or absent. The equipment feels like it belongs in a museum.

The weak Wi-Fi was my one gripe. It barely worked most of the time. Otherwise, the rooms are lovely, with comfy beds and neat, clean covers and quilts. The bathrooms have attractive modern fixtures, and they provide more than enough bath towels. The walls have beautiful doodles that are very Instagram worthy. Staff are well mannered, professional, and courteous. There’s enough privacy for couples, and it’s a lovely spot for a weekend getaway or office work.

The road-facing room was good, but the main road noise went on throughout my stay. I’d booked five nights after confirming with Oyo that guests could visit without staying at the property. Once I arrived, my guests weren’t allowed in the room for more than an hour, and I was asked to cancel the booking, even though it could have been upgraded to double occupancy. Reception also forgot to return my ID proof after photocopying it. When I asked, they bluntly said they didn’t have it. I went back to the property and asked them to search, and they found it in a drawer.

There are plenty of eateries and other facilities nearby, and the food at the hotel is decent. The staff are very accommodating, though the bathrooms could use better maintenance. It’s on the road front, but easy to miss because there are no signs.
