Scholars Inn by OYO Rooms

It's a nice, affordable hotel close to the highway. I booked through OYO and got a discount, and the staff were very nice. There's WiFi, TV connection, and breakfast. The room had dust and wasn't very clean, and the washroom wasn't clean either. A power cut also meant the hot water wasn't available on time.

There was no food or breakfast provision, just cold tea offered as complimentary after 8.30 am. The staff were lazy, sitting at reception focused on their mobile phones. Doors were sticky, and towels and toiletries weren't provided unless you asked. Cleanliness is a problem too: cigarette and pan masala pouches, along with disposable drink glasses, were lying in the galley. Disappointing.

The stay was okay, but the overall experience wasn't very good. The map location was inaccurate, and although the room was okay, I found bedbugs in the bed. The bedsheets and blanket covers weren't fresh, and I had to ask for towels. The staff were completely unprofessional. At checkout, the receptionist was asleep on the sofa and checked us out while still lying there. Worst of all, the receptionist, or whoever he was, took my phone and reviewed the hotel himself with 5 stars.

A quiet, good-value budget hotel close to the Bombay pune highway. My room cost ₹1000/- when booked via oyo. It's couple friendly, but both guests need to show an ID card.
