The Guest House by OYO Rooms

The rooms weren't clean, and the servant was asking for money. There's no way to call reception.

I've never stayed in a dirtier hotel. If you want to waste your money, you can, but I wouldn't give this place even one star. The service is rude and not good either, so why is the hotel even open? Don't even keep a water bottle here, chiii.

We booked a Fabhotel room through Goibibo, but the pictures didn't match the place at all. We arrived at 1 pm, an hour after the 12 pm check-in time. There was no Fabhotel branding, and reception said they were working on it. The receptionist led us to a room that clearly wasn't a Fab hotel room and looked nothing like the photos. The dark, unlit way to the room felt unsafe. When we said it wasn't the room shown in the pictures, he went and knocked on the neighboring room and told the couple inside to leave. He said that because we hadn't arrived at 12, he'd given them the room for a little while. He promised to give us the room in five minutes. When we asked about cleaning, he seemed confused, then said he'd clean it in five minutes and hand it over. I don't know what kind of cleaning could happen that quickly. The place felt dingy and unsafe, nothing like the pictures, and the staff clearly didn't care much, so we decided not to stay. Be careful, don't rely on the pictures and reviews. I fell for them too. They also lied to Goibibo when questioned, so I wouldn't get a resolution. I regret not taking pictures, but I felt too unsafe to stand there photographing the place and walked away as soon as possible.

The owner was kind and cooperative, and dormitory beds are available. The rooms themselves weren't clean and maintenance was very poor. It's a little far from the railway stations and the main attractive shopping malls. Budget is around 800-1000.
