OYO 18497 Eiast Field Hotel

I had to switch rooms three times and still wasn’t happy with any of them. The rooms seemed poorly maintained, and the locks were broken or could be forced open with a hard push, so I worried about the safety of my valuables. The AC in room 102 was broken, the staff seemed very casual about everything, and they served tea in a polythene bag. There were no basic TV channels either. They’ll ask extra for early check-in, but offer no concession if your room isn’t ready on time, even when you’re waiting for them to prepare it. From what I saw in the pictures, many rooms seemed to be in the same condition, with no maintenance. One of the worst OYO properties. I don’t expect better from OYO, which is why I usually choose Fab hotels.

This was the worst service I’ve ever had. I booked a room for about 900, but the hotel charged me 1500 in cash instead of taking the OYO payment. Even after I paid in cash and checked in, I started getting calls from an unknown person harassing me for money. I believe the hotel shared my adhar card details and mobile number with them. I left after only 10 minutes and then saw the OYO app still showed the amount as unpaid, so I cancelled the room. I filed a complaint with the Pune cyber crime dept against the person who harassed me. The hotel is sharing customers’ adhar card details, mobile numbers and photos. Please take action against them, or I’ll definitely file a case against Oyo.

A horrible stay, with stained sheets and pillow covers, and an AC that wasn’t working when I reached the room. They also charged me for checking in early. I’d tell people to avoid this hotel. I suspect the good reviews are paid.

The service was below average, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. The room was unclean, the furniture was in poor condition, and the billing seemed shady. There’s no lift to the fourth-floor room, which was a problem for a guest in their late 50s.
