We found the two balconies, kitchen area, fridge, and some crockery useful for a family stay. It's a spacious 1BHK converted into a hotel room, and outside food from Swiggy/Zomato is allowed, though they don't have a kitchen. Breakfast is simple, with two dishes, tea, bread, and butter, and was more than enough. Some staff were polite and helpful, and the hangers for drying clothes were a thoughtful touch. The coffee shop is the standout, really excellent, extraordinary. 👌🏼🌼🌸 The entrance felt cluttered because of a parked car, perhaps the owner's. Reception could be more welcoming, with seating in that adjoining area and a smile from the receptionist. They could also set up a small kitchen for food and tea, and provide toiletries at check-in. The location is prime, and the facilities feel homely.

I was refused check-in after making a booking because the hotel has a “no foreigners” policy. When I asked about it, staff said they'd had problems in the past, and said the policy was on their website, though I had to dig deep into the policy page to find it. This isn't about a lack of a license to host visitors from abroad. It's broad-brush discrimination. The customer satisfaction team contacted me afterward to say I was “welcome in India,” just not at their hotel.

The locality is good, but the stay wasn't worth it because maintenance was very bad. The rooms were very dirty, and it was hard to use the space comfortably. Wi-Fi was weak and didn't work, while mobile data was unusable too because the network is poor there. No toiletries kit was provided. When I asked, the receptionist said Treebo management hadn't sent any stock.

The staff were rude, and the place felt like an old guest house. The rooms were dirty, the furniture old, and the sofas torn. Half the lights didn't work, and neither did the geyser. I wouldn't recommend it if you're expecting somewhere clean and cozy.
