Treebo Ranjeet Shivaji Nagar

We stayed for two days and had no hassle logging in or checking out. Everything was good, and the breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all top quality, especially the Kolhapuri taste. It’s a beautiful, clean hotel with no complaints from me.

The location is the main reason this place might be OK for one night, but I wouldn’t make it my first choice again. The rooms were so-so, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. When we checked in, our rooms weren’t ready. We’d booked two, but they gave us just one, where a couple were already resting. They hurried out when they saw us. The bathroom door locked from the outside twice. A couple of staff members, including the front desk guy, were argumentative or acted oversmart. He picked an argument over nothing, and the room service guy seemed to suggest we were doing something wrong when the bathroom door got stuck. We laughed off these incidents, since we were generally aware of Pune people’s behaviour, but we won’t be choosing this hotel first in future.

The restaurant service was the one bright spot, especially the help from Basu da. The location is good too, but this was my second awful experience here, and I’m done with them for a while unless they get their act together. Reception staff were rude and mannerless, and check-in took more than 40 minutes. We were given smoking rooms that smelled bad and pushed to keep the same rooms for my kids, including one who is a minor. Room cleaning was substandard. Some switches didn’t work, plugs were loose or damaged, and one room’s fridge wasn’t working. The other rooms had no fridge. #Treebo #HotelRanjeetPune

Sachin from housekeeping was polite, supportive, and quick on the job. Great stay.
