White Castle Heritage by OYO Rooms

The owner and staff were cooperative, and the location is really good. We had a great stay. It’s a good value hotel for families and friends.

At 4 am I was refused check-in. The receptionist first said the rooms were sold out, then, after I gave him my booking ID, claimed they hadn’t received any booking. Whenever I challenged him, he came up with another excuse: they don’t take online bookings, there was no booking in their system, or the one room left hadn’t been cleaned. They may also ask for 40-80% more money and don’t seem to care about online reservations. Don’t ignore the one-star reviews or waste your money booking here.

The property itself is okay, but they asked me for extra charges at check-in. I paid because this seems to happen to me every time. At checkout, the owner demanded still more money, saying it was a service charge not included in the room rate. I refused, and he started threatening me. I suggest avoiding this property, #oyoban. Oyo keeps giving me terrible experiences.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were relaxed and friendly. We paid Rs. 1800/- for a day. It’s good for couples, though the lodge is a little inside a public area. The service was good.
