Hotel Sagar Kanya by OYO Rooms

We found Hotel Sagar Kanya a convenient base for Puri, close to the beach and major attractions. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, and our clean, comfortable room and the polite, helpful staff made it a pleasant family stay. A great place to stay, highly recommended.

The supposed sea-view room looked out at construction, and breakfast wasn't included. We booked two premium rooms, but the AC in one didn't work properly, room service was terrible, and the food was disappointing. I've stayed in many hotels in Puri, and this was the worst. A major letdown on our trip, especially at such a premium price. Avoid it if you want a pleasant stay.

The dog situation upset me most. Their Labrador was chained in one corner all day with no room to move. They should give the poor dog a decent separate area where it can move around. The menu is large but has little for vegetarians, and whatever we asked for, the answer was no. Veg and non-veg items are mixed together on the menu. The washroom window was broken, and the room and service didn't justify the high charges. Very unprofessional and a bad experience. There's plenty of room for improvement.

A heartfelt thanks to the owner and everyone at Sagar Kanya. Their kindness and hospitality will stay with us, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The hotel was immaculate, the rooms were well appointed, and the amenities and welcoming atmosphere were great. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place that cares about its guests.
