Hotel Sashi Puri

The staff were rude, and the price was very high compared with other hotels. Even basic things like a lift, toiletries, and bottled water weren't available. I'd advise against choosing this hotel in puri.

The location was convenient, about a 5-10 minute walk to Template and Golden Beach. But we paid 1600 per day, and the hotel didn't provide water, towels, or sanitary items without charging. There was no proper restaurant nearby, so we had to go to the temple area for lunch and dinner. At check-in, the washroom was dirty, the walls weren't cleaned or painted like the photos, and the sheets were unchanged and dirty. The pillows smelled strongly. Water from the AC outlet leaked into the washroom and made bathing uncomfortable, while the main door lock didn't work properly. We reported these things repeatedly, but staff took no corrective action, so we had to leave a day before checkout. When we politely asked for a bill adjustment because we were leaving early due to these problems, the owner arrogantly refused and said, “you may give whatever review you want.” They also charged service tax despite providing no proper service. Poor hygiene and staff management left a very negative impression. I hope management improves cleanliness, accountability, and how it handles customers.

Don't rely on the room photos. The rooms were very poor and unhygienic. They served refilled water in IRCTC. BOTTLES. The non-AC room cost 2500, and the owner wasn't cooperative.

The room and toilet were disgusting, and the window didn't work. Luggage was taken from my room by their staff and owner, they said I was lying because I didn't want to pay for the room. After I complained to the police, our laptop was found at another house's gate, but the ladies' purse with cash and eartop was never found. I warn everyone not to go to this hotel.
