OYO 7580 near Jagannath Temple

The room was cleaned every day, and the bed, furniture, and accessories were all in working condition. The AC worked efficiently too. The canteen was so good that the cook wouldn't let me go out to get food. The booking counter manager and staff gave us a very warm welcome, and the hospitality and prompt help from the management made this a pleasant, comfortable stay at oyo swastik mandap, jagannath temple hotel at puri. It was peaceful, and the staff had a caring attitude. That left me very satisfied, and I'd recommend it to friends and relatives looking for a comfortable stay in puri in the future. The bathroom was nice and clean, but the lock wasn't good. The room itself was nice, though some things didn't work properly, including the TV. The room lock was especially bad, and I hurt myself trying to lock it. I wouldn't recommend eating at the restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was only decent, and they charge extra if you get anything else. Better go outside. Bye guys, enjoy your tour.

It was hard to find the hotel at night because the name on my booking was Jagannath hote, while the hotel's actual name was something else. The bathroom was atrociously dirty, though the bed was comfortable with a broad mattress and the AC worked well. The TV never worked, the mosquito repellent bottle was empty, and the in-room phone didn't work on the first day. It worked perfectly the next day when they called to tell me to check out at 8am. Oyo emailed a confirmation saying late checkout after 10am would depend on availability, which seemed fair since I could check out by 10. But at the supervisor's demand, staff kept calling and knocking from 8am to get me out. He was extremely rude and had a whole different level of attitude. He wouldn't even look at me while speaking. I asked why the hotel name differed from the one I'd booked, and he was loud and rude. He also threatened to move me and my bags while I was out because I'd been given a double room when I had booked a single. I hadn't asked for a double room, they gave me the keys and escorted me there at night. That's when I put my foot down and dared him to do it, saying I'd call the police. He shut up after that. The bedsheets were horribly stained and dirty, but kaali, who showed me to the room, was sweet and changed them straight away. manas mohanty was also a great help, explaining how to explore the city. The supervisor was called Balram Das, I think. The worst part for me was still his rude behavior. I have pictures of everything if you want proof.

The price felt high for how poorly the place was kept. There isn't a working restaurant, and breakfast is brought in from outside, with disappointing quality. The room wasn't clean, with stains on the walls and bedspread, and the pillows were very dirty under yellowish-white covers. Mosquitoes were everywhere, even in the lift. At the entrance, a strong, sickening smell came from the nearby gutter. Our stay there wasn't pleasant. I'd give the hotel one star.
