The Hans Coco Palms

Puri is still my favorite destination, and Hans Coco Palms was my choice for a third visit, but I'm not planning to stay there again. Room 209 was uncomfortable: the air conditioning didn't work properly from arrival through my last day, and the refrigerator and hair dryer were also out of order. We didn't lodge a complaint, but housekeeping didn't bring a kettle or tea sachets until we asked. The staff are friendly, though they should be quicker about passing guest complaints to management. On checkout day they rushed us and didn't seem concerned about the problems we'd had. I visited on 6th June 2026.

I've stayed here twice with family and friends over the last 1 year, and both visits were pretty bad. The rooms were tiny, poorly kept, and overpriced, and service wasn't good. Food was expensive too, around 400 Rs for a simple egg curry or Dal fry. The orange and pineapple juices tasted like chilled water. Staff said they'd replace them after we complained, but charged us for all of them at checkout. Prices were high, and staff were unfriendly. They began knocking around 8 am to make us vacate. The pool was dirty, and stray dogs used the garden beside it as a playground. There are better properties nearby. This place costs a lot without offering quality.

The receptionist was horribly rude, and plumbing issues had been left without maintenance. There are much better options out there, so take your time and choose better for yourself.

The bathroom pipe was leaking and smelled foul. Even though we arrived late, our room wasn't ready.
