Sai Maa Hotel and Residency

The place looks nice, but the food was a letdown, and I’m writing this from the restaurant after eating it. We paid before finding out the buffet was cold and dry. The pasta was doughy, the noodles ice cold, and they took away both the starters while we were eating, saying they weren’t available, then cleared the dessert section too. We had to ask for everything. What really bothered me was that, five minutes after we arrived, staff warned another customer that the buffet was cold but hadn’t told us. It felt biased and was unacceptable. I hope someone reads this and avoids the restaurant.

Food took far too long at the restaurant, and the room AC wasn’t working. The front desk didn’t respond to my complaint. After I followed up several times, they finally moved us to another room at 10:30 PM. Not worth it.

I left my wristwatch in the room, and the team had it couriered to my address the very next day. That was especially kind. Shri Jasmin Bhavsar and the team showed wonderful hospitality throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, the vegetarian food at the restaurant was excellent, and the rain shower was great. We’ve stayed at SaiMaa hotel three times, but this visit fell short. The rooms weren’t very clean, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the towels were dusty. There was no dental kit or tissues, and overall things weren’t up to the mark. We also couldn’t use the restaurant because there was a party. The reception was often unattended, and the security person was busy talking with others. Management should look into this if they don’t want to lose customers.
