The rooms smell of cigarettes. The fridge doesn’t work, and neither does the TV.

The food was very tasty, with both veg and non-veg choices, and the prices were reasonable. Rooms are spacious and fairly priced too, but the washrooms need work, especially the tiles and shower. The location is a little outside the city, next to Mahindra Showroom, and there aren’t many autos or rickshaws. Ola, Uber, and Rapido aren’t available in Raigarh, which is the main issue, though local autos charge reasonable fares to this location.

The hotel may be in a good location, but I wouldn’t stop here. I booked a room for one, and its fan only worked for 2-3 hours. The food was so-so. Worst of all, they charged 14 Rs more on 15Rs cold drink bottles, then added GST, so they were selling above MRP and charging tax on top. It felt like they were making fools of people. Stay at well known places.

The room was tiny, and its AC made a terrible humming sound. The AC and other equipment were broken or in very bad shape, even though the room itself was clean. The hotel was poorly maintained and very costly for the service. The online Google reviews felt misleading, and this was a terrible place for a night halt, less than one star. No one on staff was wearing a mask when we arrived, and they acted casually despite the pandemic situation in the country. There was no generator or inverter, so the power went out and came back 6 to 7 times that night. I asked housekeeping for a hot water kettle, but it was broken and the person didn’t know it wasn’t working. Breakfast was tasteless, with only two items available despite the menu listing lots of choices. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone coming from another state for government or official work.
