Hotel Babylon Inn

We were there for my nephew’s wedding from the 2nd through the 5th of December. The wedding preparations were handled professionally and with great care. Restaurant service was prompt, the food was good, and the breakfast spread had a huge number of choices. The staff were courteous and helpful. I was recovering from a leg injury and needed a high chair and extra cushions, which they brought right away. I should have checked whether they had bathrooms with railings, but the experience was good overall. Thanks, especially for the ginger tea.

I checked out of Babylon Inn Raipur today, and this was a terrible stay for the prices they charge. The room was poorly maintained and dull, nothing like what I’d expect from a premium hotel with such high tariffs. The food was very expensive: a simple vegetarian meal for two, with no liquor, came to around ₹4,000, while service was nearly nonexistent. Despite repeated calls to the restaurant and the restaurant manager at night, we didn’t get the breakfast parcel they’d promised. We had an early train and even asked for a cup of coffee, but they couldn’t manage that either. We waited 15 minutes and nobody brought the parcel. The room, food, and service weren’t worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend Babylon Inn Raipur to anyone looking for comfort, value, or basic hospitality.

The service was impeccable, and the location was perfect for exploring. My room was comfortable and spotless. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Hotel Babylon Inn. Highly recommend!

I stayed for a week. The complimentary breakfast was good, but it didn’t feel worth the money. Service wasn’t good either, and they didn’t respond promptly when I asked for things or service.
