This place is budget-friendly, and the staff and everything else were good. There was some cleanliness, but the baby cockroaches in my room were a serious problem and scared me, since they’re a nightmare for me. I saw two at night and killed them, then didn’t see any more. In the morning, after getting breakfast, I went to the bathroom before eating. When I came out, three cockroaches were crawling all over the sandwich I’d already taken a bite from. They replaced it, and offered me another room, but I had a train to catch, so I checked out instead. I wanted to write about my experience. Thanks for the service, and everything else was good. 👍🏽

The rooms are small, and the Google photos seem to have been taken a long time ago. Cleaning was very poor, the mattress was far too hard, and the blankets or rajai were barely better than a tent blanket. There’s no chair in the double room, and the room phones are nearly at the end of their life. The kitchen only starts at 7, so there’s no bed tea for early risers. You may have to call reception 3-4 times to get anything you need. All the staff are from Orissa, so cleanliness is according to their standards. If you want a clean stay, look elsewhere, or book a trial stay and write a long review like this one.

Hotel Meera, Raipur is a total disgrace. The washrooms are filthy, and dirty rooms are handed over to new guests without a second thought. Cockroaches and insects are everywhere, as if it’s their official residence. Staff don’t seem to care, and management must be asleep. Calling this a hotel is an insult to actual hotels. Don’t waste your money or your sanity here.

There were mosquitoes all over the hotel and inside the rooms, and the washrooms weren’t clean. The place is dirty and unhygienic, with no hot water. It’s worth no more than a thousand rupees, yet they charge more. I don’t understand on what basis. It looks nothing like the images. Good for nothing.

The people working here are good, but the room was awful. The cleaning, bedsheet, and floor were all terrible, and I killed almost five cockroaches in the room. The window AC was making a loud noise, and there wasn’t even a jet spray in the washroom. Horrible experience. 😂
