Hotel Raipur Inn

I had to stay one night because I checked in at night, but the condition of Hotel Raipur Inn was awful. They charged Rs 2000 for one day in a single AC room, which felt like far too much for the service. The room boy, receptionist lady, and two other male staff members handled my complaints irresponsibly. They showed me several rooms, and every one smelled bad and seemed unhygienic. The first had a broken washroom pipe and flush. In the next, worms crawled across the very dirty floor, the bathroom lock didn't work, and the AC only operated at temperatures set by hotel management. The room they eventually showed me had just been cleaned, but its switch board was hanging out of the wall and the washroom flush kept leaking. The building is very old, with unfinished patchwork along the way to the rooms, and the AC looked at least two decades old. They didn't provide basics like water and toilet soap until I asked. None of the rooms had air fresheners, and all smelled bad. Given its location near the railway station, the room service and customer handling were still so poor that I'd warn families against coming here. I hope the higher authorities at Hotel Raipur Inn address these issues in future.

The receptionist was very rude, and the complimentary breakfast they promised at check-in never arrived. The bed sheet was extremely dusty and the rooms were ugly. None of the rooms they moved us through had working AC, and there wasn't even an AC remote available. Parking was inadequate, so be ready to move your vehicle many times, with scratches as a possibility. I can't stay at this property again.

The staff didn't pay attention or seem interested in fixing anything. My room was dirty, with no sign that proper housekeeping had been done, and the Wi-Fi simply didn't work at all. It made for a very disappointing stay. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. One star.

Management and service were very poor. I'd never go to this hotel.
