The place has a nice ambience, but tipping was the issue for me. An older waiter kept asking for money as a tip, which I really didn’t like. Not every waiter was like that, but some had no etiquette and the repeated demands didn’t feel professional.

The location is handy, right beside the Bandana Bajaj showroom on G.E. Road, with good connections to the rest of the city. But the food is a bit expensive for its quality. There’s a serious cleanliness problem. The hotel’s pet cat roams around and defecates in different places, and there’s a bad smell around all the time. The facade is covered in gutkha stains, and opening the window lets in a stinky odor.

The hotel is pleasant, the Wi-Fi is good, and the bathroom is spacious. Hygiene is maintained on and off, and breakfast is good. Service can be an issue because there aren’t enough staff. The food was awful, though. My stomach has been grumbling ever since my first lunch at the restaurant.

The rooms feel premium, and the hotel is in the city center. There are all kinds of food and drinks, and the support staff are helpful.

For a budget-friendly hotel, this is a good option. The rooms are decent and service is good. The one small snag is that the included breakfast isn’t really a buffet, but that’s a minor inconvenience for me.
