OYO Flagship 8173 Hotel Singh Palace

The hotel itself is good, and the staff were pleasant. But the bed sheets were dirty. Even after I asked for a change, the replacements weren't clean either. They also add a 3% charge for card payments, which I can't accept. That's a major issue, and I'll think twice before staying here again.

The food and cleanliness were both awful, and nobody seemed willing to listen or help. The staff acted as if having to work because a guest was there was a nuisance, while they carried on with their cheap conversations and laughter. The location is terrible, and there's no parking. They didn't care where guests left their vehicles. The worst part was that a glass of water made me vomit twice about an hour later. It was Navratri and I was fasting, so I hadn't eaten or drunk anything else beforehand. A very poor experience.

The hostel staff and everything else were up to the mark, and we managed to spend the rest of our time there. When we first entered the couple-friendly room, things seemed okay, but I had a suspicion something was fishy. I checked with two or three camera detection apps and got the same reading on each. I wasn't sure what it meant, so I didn't tell management. We covered the area we were concerned about.

They wouldn't let me into the property or check me in, even though I'd booked through the OYO app. The staff were very rude. Eventually customer care found me a room at a nearby hotel. I'd never consider this place when planning a trip to Raipur.
