Sesha Residency

It's right next to Sheldon hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with free WiFi on every floor, and both AC and non-AC options with TVs. Service needs work, though the rates are fairly high. Food comes from outside third-party hotels, and the wait is intolerable.

The staff were helpful and disciplined, and the hotel follows the full check-in and check-out process. They even asked for my feedback when I checked out, which surprised me. It's on a fairly quiet road but still close to the bus stand, so it's a decent choice for a short stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the toilets are clean with running hot water. I'll look for this place again next time I'm in RJY for a short stay.

Rooms 403 and 404 had a lot of problems, and the door locks were awful. Cleaning was good, but the beds were bad, just sponge beds, and the room boy's service was poor. I gave him 500 to get tiffin and a water bottle. He came back after 30 minutes with the items but no change. The staff weren't united, and reception was awful too. They cancelled my bookings after I asked for a proforma invoice to pay the full amount as an advance. I had booked two rooms for 25 March 2023, said I would pay on the morning of the 25th, gave them the guests' phone numbers, and confirmed the bookings. I was ready to pay if they sent confirmation by proforma invoice or at least email, but they didn't and cancelled. The person I dealt with was Mr. Subhramanyam. An absolutely awful experience.
