The greenery, quiet surroundings, and ambience make this a lovely setting for weddings, ring ceremonies, or other parties with hundreds of family and friends. Food quality was good and restaurant service was nice. The rooms had a little dust, though, and room service and cleanliness need improvement.

There's a pool, gym, restaurant, and banquet, so it's a good place to stay. One thing they should change: don't hand out plastic bottles every time someone asks for water. Use something sustainable, like jugs, and cut down on plastic.

The room was arranged in a way that made no sense, with the bed and table seeming to have been placed without a plan. Comfort didn't seem to be a priority. The intercom was dead, the TV may as well have been wall art, and the fridge was missing. My stay at Hotel Gautam, Rajgir was memorable mainly because I wanted to forget it. It's a cautionary tale, so avoid it unless you want regrets as souvenirs.

I was there for my sister's engagement in December, 2023. The staff and management were helpful, and I liked the hospitality and service. The hall was spacious, clean, and suited to small parties. Rooms were large, clean, and had the needed amenities. Decoration was only average and could be improved; the food was satisfactory, neither too good nor too bad. Breakfast was free, oddly, but water cost extra. My experience was 4.5 out of 5, and I'd hold a function there again if they improved the things I mentioned.
