Quality Inn Patria Suites, Rajkot

Full was the one good part of the evening. She kept checking on us and tried hard to make sure we were comfortable, going back and forth from our table, which was quite far from the kitchen. She was almost running each time, and really should have had proper help instead of managing it alone. My wife and I had booked a candlelight dinner for our first anniversary at Quality Inn Patria Suits Hotel, Rajkot. The poolside table, decorations, and ambience were beautiful and romantic. But the food was a major letdown, and after a few minutes mosquitoes were all around us. It was uncomfortable to sit and eat, and we had to leave much earlier than planned. The food and mosquito problem spoiled the occasion. The place has potential, but management needs to improve the food and pest control.

The bedroom was perfectly okay, and it's the only room we used. The lounge had a stained sofa with a burn hole, and a kitchen light kept blinking. Breakfast wasn't great either. I was glad there was a gym, but the benches had sweat marks, the yoga mats had spit stains, and all the equipment was switched off. There were no towels or water, though a fridge full of red bull was available. The hotel needs to get its priorities right. Nothing to write home about.

I was very disappointed, especially given the premium price. The sheets were in horrible, aged condition, and the mattress was so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep after the long journey from Ahmedabad. I had flown in from dubai through ahmedabad and come all the way to Rajkot. Imperial palace and Lemon tree were fully booked for the New Zealand cricket match and kite festival, so I had no other option but to stay at Quality Inn. It was just so sad.

Booked a candlelight dinner here for my husband's birthday and it was really nice, a lovely place for a couple to make good memories. The staff were polite and the food quality was good.
