I'm based in London and recently visited Rajkot. I stayed at SILVER PLACE HOTEL, a beautiful hotel in town that was nice and clean. The management and staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the room service was excellent. Kiranben was a big help and guided me to the best shopping area. Thank you, Kiranben. I'd highly recommend it to anyone going to Rajkot.

The bathroom was a real plus, with a good enclosed shower and lots of hot water, and the room was nearly suite-sized with a sofa and coffee table. There’s a restaurant next door, plus room service. I stayed here a year ago and would come back when I’m next in rajkot. Breakfast comes to the room and they can make eggs, but the menu wording is confusing and they tried to overcharge us. Book breakfast as part of the stay if you can, since it’s very expensive otherwise.

The service was painfully slow, like a 2G connection, and we had to wait for everything. Staff made verbal promises about meeting guests’ needs, but in practice nothing came of them. The internet wasn’t working at all. This hotel isn’t suitable for official purposes, and it seems to be run by inefficient people. Don’t ask them how long anything will take.

We registered with the receptionist while waiting for dinner at Silver Palace Hotel. The wait was long, and when we went back to check on things, the staff were very rude. With customer service that disappointing, I wouldn’t recommend going when there’s a queue.

They cancelled our booking at the last minute, then said they were fully booked and tried to charge extra for a more expensive room. I wouldn’t book a stay here.
