OYO Premium Calicut Airport Extension

The little things made my two days at Hotel Park Residency, Ramanattukara feel welcoming. I asked for coffee powder several times and each time it came promptly with a smile, no delay or irritation. The staff were friendly from check-in, room service was quick, and housekeeping kept the room clean and fresh. I had a really pleasant stay and would happily choose this place again.

I stayed at Park Residency, Ramanattukara on February 25 and 26, and had a very unpleasant encounter with one receptionist. I'd stayed here more than eight times before, and the other receptionists had been polite and professional. This is the second bad experience I've had with this particular man. He was rude and judgmental, and his behavior showed little hospitality or professionalism. I booked through Cleartrip, then extended my stay by another day. Around 11 a.m. the next morning, I told a bald man in a suit at reception, who introduced himself as Roopesh, about the extension. When I mentioned Cleartrip, he became visibly angry. He said that the previous day I had booked through Cleartrip and he'd still given me the room, and that he was doing so again this time. Then he warned that if I booked through Cleartrip again, he wouldn't give me a room. He also claimed the hotel had blocked Cleartrip bookings. When I asked how I'd been able to book if that were true, he had no answer. I felt embarrassed and humiliated by how he spoke to me. I contacted Cleartrip customer care right away and made a complaint. They confirmed there was no such blocking system and escalated it to the area manager, saying the hotel staff had misrepresented the facts.

The hotel was neat and clean, and the breakfast spread was decent. Most of the stay was good, but I had an issue with the TV. I called the operator number, and after answering, no one followed up. In the end I had to go to the lobby and find a staff member to sort it out.

I spent one night at Park Residency and had a pleasant stay. It was peaceful and comfortable, and the room was clean, well maintained and clearly kept with hygiene in mind. Everything felt neat and organized. I'd consider coming back.
