Hotel RSN International by OYO Rooms

The main drawback was hauling our luggage through busy, narrow lanes with kids and elderly family members. Since Hotel RSN International is inside the crowded temple area, it doesn't offer vehicle pickup or transfer. Traveling light would make that less of an issue, but big bags were a real pain. The location is hard to beat: Rameshwaram East Gate is just a few steps away, making it easy to walk to darshan. Rooms were decent and clean, staff were okay, and the food was average. We stayed two nights with family. It's fine if your trip is focused on the temple and you pack light. We gave it 3.5/5 because of the luggage struggle, though the location alone would otherwise have earned 4+ stars.

The location was accessible, but it couldn't make up for a dreadful stay. We were 80 people, and most of the rooms were booked. They were all in much the same shape: rooms were clean, but AC units weren't working well and their filters were unbelievably dusty. Every room's mirrors were in bad condition, and some door locks didn't work properly. The washroom near the restaurant was filthy and smelly. Service was completely inadequate. The owner has plenty to do, but I don't think he cares. Just a fair review.

Being very close to the temple is the main highlight. The rooms are spacious, but the linen had already been used. The bathrooms could be cleaner, and the taps had stains and issues. The car park is some distance from the hotel, with no parking nearby because it's in the temple area.

The location is very good, just a few steps from the temple, and the rooms are spacious. But the service was poor, no bathroom kit was provided, and room cleanliness wasn't up to the mark. Overall, 2/5.
