Sree Kumaran Residence by Royal stay

We booked a family room with Sree Kumaran Residence, but when we arrived they said renovations meant we'd be placed at a different hotel. It wasn't what we had booked, so we weren't satisfied.

Pathetic, in a word. The owner only seems interested in money, and the staff are rude. They want your payment but don't provide basic amenities. The room had no working TV, dustbin, hanger, curtains, mirror, chair, or almirah. There wasn't even a hanger in the washroom, which is strange. The AC worked only when they wanted it to, and the room didn't seem to have been cleaned for weeks. How can they run a hotel like this?

The staff were friendly and behaved well, and the room service was very good, including RO water. Our room was clean, safe, and comfortable for the family. It’s also close to the temple and the sea.

The bathroom had no curtains, and they wouldn’t provide an extra bedsheet. The blankets smelled awful, and the pillows and sheets hadn’t even been changed. The rooms were dirty and smelly, and the AC was deliberately turned off. When we asked about it, nobody came to fix it. The hotel representative first sent us lovely room photos, but what we found was completely different. The tariff is high for what you get. They only seem interested in money. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I think a dharmashala would be cleaner. Don’t be fooled. It’s very cheap in quality. I wish Google allowed negative ratings, because this place doesn’t deserve a better one.
