At night, you can see Kotdwar glowing below from the resort, which sits high above the valley. It’s a lovely quiet escape for anyone who wants a break from city life, with welcoming staff and food that feels home-cooked. The road up is narrow and a little difficult in places, but the views make the drive worthwhile.

Everything was clean and hygienic, and the food was great. There are lots of fun things to do here, too. Such a beautiful place, definitely worth a stay.

I first came in 2018 and returned in 2025, and it still has such a great feel to it. The food is delicious, the hospitality is lovely, and the air is so clean you can see the mighty mountains clearly. It’s an amazing place with spectacular views around the Delhi NCR area.

The veg Maggi and vanilla shake are quite good, especially when there aren’t many other options nearby. The buffet, though, was disappointing and below par. Service is okay and the location is decent. I’d book a room here, but order à la carte or choose a few specific dishes instead of getting the buffet.

You feel like you’re above the clouds here, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The hotel has rooms or well-kept tent accommodation, which is part of its appeal. Charakh ( Balli) is a lovely area that still needs exploring, and although there’s now a single-lane road, it could use more improvement. It’s a place worth visiting at least once.
